All applicants should be required to complete an application form. This enables you to collect essential information including qualifications and work history. An application form may also pose questions about the applicant’s legal status to work in New Zealand, any medical conditions that may affect job performance and any criminal convictions. Any false information provided at this stage will constitute grounds for dismissal.
An application form also makes it easy to compare the skills, experience and responses of different applicants.
